I like romance stories, but this one did not work for me. I loved the chemistry between Kell and Emma. I felt like Emma and her family, because she obviously was with someone who treated her badly and she just stood there letting him.

This book was ok, but I knew going in Kell was not a very likable person and so it was hard to cheer for him. Had he loved his grandfather or felt he had something to prove, I might have understood. At the end thought the poor girl is so willing to be in a loveless marriage with a despicable, egomaniac and megalomaniac arrogant-bastard, it’s horrible.
